MYPLATES Ugly Yellow

In a major campaign for myPlates – we wanted to challenge people to think about the aesthetics of their car’s number plates.

While NSW law says your vehicle has to have a plate, it doesn’t say it has to be yellow. Making a nice car wear a standard yellow plate is a bit like asking someone to wear daggy clothes.

We created a strategy, delivered through an integrated campaign which not only exceeded all sales expectations but also changed perceptions in the market place.
