The Instagram filter we developed for myPlates allowed users to ‘Try On’ a number plate using Augmented Reality. Hold your phone up to the front of your car, slide through a select range of number plates and see that plate on your own car – for real!…. well almost.
What this did, was solved a problem that potential customers had “what will this plate look like on my car”. It’s a digital try before you buy.
What’s more, users can share the image with their friends.
It’s social, it’s helpful and developed with a customer first mindset.
The filter was such a hit, we worked with Spotify to promote them using in-car target ads.
